Those who contract with the Federal Gov.should have to pay similar wages for similar work and whenever possible keep all work in the US. Raytheon in AZ pays very good wages but Current Controls,Inc in Wellsville,NY pays very low wages and has a plant in Costa Rica.Please set conditions where Gov.contractors MUST pay a set minimum wage in order to contract with the Fed. Gov.This ensures no matter where the same type of work, not necessarily the exact work, employees receive similar pay. An area that normally pays lower wages would not have advantage over an area where wages are generally higher and gives a more even "playing field" when bidding on contracts. This will also help to raise the standard of living for those in depressed areas being paid extremely low wages.
