Our postal service has helped make our country great. However, the postal system is becoming increasingly antiquated and irrelevant, while current email systems are ill-suited to secure and authenticated communication and are infested with spam and viruses.
We need to develop a self-contained, official email system that combines the benefits of physical mail and email.
The goal of this system will be to replace non-parcel physical mail for the entire country, and to provide a secure point of contact and identification service for other government modernization efforts. It won't replace other email, but it will provide a safe domain for most communication.
Implementing a system like this will enhance productivity, eliminate waste, and will provide a basis to further advance our country.
