Student loan forgiveness is assigned to teachers and government employees who dedicate time to the community. Loan forgiveness should be possible through faith-based and other service programs as well: soup kitchens, prison volunteers and hospice are just a few examples of important services that could be recognized as a socially beneficial contribution towards debt forgiveness by our nations poor.
