This petition is for every person in America that owns a firearm and believes in the 2nd amendment, the law-makers are trying to take our guns away, but what they don't realize is rarely does a gun kill anyone, it is an inatimate object that can not act on it's own., Guns don't kill people, people kill people. I agree there should be stringent background checks for ownership, but your average "bad guy" or "hoodlum" doesn't buy his gun legally, they buy theirs on the street. So how do you regulate those guns? Not by taking the guns from the legally registered owners. come on wake up, this is a ploy for government power! if you dont' have a gun you are defenseless when the economy collapses and the _ _ _ _ hits the fan.
