This is a petition to hold those who commit Domestic Violence more responsible for their actions. People are let off too easy.
It is not safe to have these people still in our cities once released from jail. There have been many cases of a boyfriend going to jail for DV, then getting released in a few days and killing the victim.
This is not safe for the victims or their family. Something more must be done then just a few weeks or a few months in jail.
