It is impossible for the majority of New Yorkers to live off of the income we make. Most of New Yorkers are in shelters for long periods of time because they cant afford the rent. If somehow you manage to make rent, you still have to worry about eating and making it back and forth to work and heaven forbid you get sick. Alot of New Yorkers have decided to reloc ate to other states but they don't have the resources to make it elsewhere, such as a
car, money, a job or even a place to go. More Affordable
Housing is a need for us.
