Only 1% of the worlds oceans are nationally protected. I cannot stress this enough: We need to protect our oceans. Overfishing and pollution are just two factors that are contributing to the rapid decline of the fish population. If we do not reverse this soon, all the fish are predicted to be extinct by the year 2048. Don't believe me? look it up. Without the fish we are doomed. they are a huge part of our food chain. Please help us save the fish before its too late. Nationally protected waters would vastly increase the safety of our oceans. We can not end up a barren wasteland.
