Create a more reasonable approach to drug abuse by making it a health issue and put an end to the war on drugs.

The war on drugs is costing us far over billions of dollars a year. This money is putting people behind bars for completely non violent offenses making it extremely difficult to find work with a felony record and they end up right back in the drug trade. People are dying from research drugs because they are easy to obtain and there is no regulation on them and people do not know that what they are consuming is potentially life threatening at what they think is a normal dose of what they where supposedly told. This petition is to put a stop to the war on drugs and end prohibition. However at the same time regulate these drugs with certain requirements like has been done with alcohol and tobacco.
