Create a "Move for Work" loan program that provides loans to unemployed workers to allow them to relocate to a new area.

Created by A.R. on October 21, 2011

A program run by the Department of Labor that grants loans not to exceed $10,000 to provide funds for unemployed Americans to relocate to seek work in a different location. The person seeking employment must have a guaranteed offer of employment from an employer to receive the non-dismissible loan that will be repaid at low interest to the Federal Government. This will allow jobs that are unfilled due to skill shortages in locations to be filled and to remove social services burdens from locations with high unemployment. This loan can only be used to cover costs of moving as well as deposit and first months rent on a new property to house the job seeker.
