The US has been facing harder and harder challenges regarding our enemies at home and abroad. If the US were to create a foreign legion, similar yet very different to that of France, it would allow the US military and intelligence greater flexibility and add some greater efficiency to US foreign policy. This group could be very large in size, perhaps 50,000 active-duty soldiers, whose main mission would be intelligence collecting, sabotage, direct action, reconnaissance, and clever infiltration of enemy militias and armies. For example, these foreign soldiers could join ISIS, and collect valuable intelligence along the way, destroying such organizations from the inside, and leaving our enemies in a very vulnerable position. This is the way to win our future wars as a nation.
