The states in the northeast portion of the USA have their own self interests, to include a constant struggle to find ways around the Bill of Rights. They support taxing the heartland to pay for programs only supported by north-easterners.
The northeastern states should be allowed to pursue their own political and social agendas without the descent from those pesky states whose citizens strongly believe in upholding the Constitution of the United States; with particular emphasis on the Bill of Rights...
The President and Congress should call a Constitutional Convention for the purpose of forming the separate nation of New England, comprised of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, Pennsylvania, Jew Jersey, Maryland and Delaware.
