Create a nation wide prescription database program for flaging/identifying abusers, bad doctors, and pharmacies.

Created by P.G. on October 26, 2011

I believe a nationwide prescription drug database should be mandated in every state and monitored to locate and identify people who have become addicticted to prescription drugs like my 22 yr old son. We need to identify bad doctors, and bad pharmacies. I think Ohio has a database that is helping. Medical insurance companies could help also. In the case of young adults I think the parents should have the right to be made aware of the addict in this crisis. I think doctors, the police, the courts, the pharmacies and the insurance plans should contribute to help this problem. We need better and honest rehab programs. The reformed addict also needs a job opportunity to prevent slipping back into drugs.
