Create a National Animal Abuse Registry

Created by J.M. on December 27, 2012

Animal abusers are five times more likely to commit violent crimes against people than those without a history of animal abuse. Often those guilty of animal abuse are not adequately punished and continue to inflict cruelty on animals, and people. High profile psychopathic killers often exhibit a history of animal abuse.

A National registry would establish a standardized searchable animal abuse crime database to assist in preventing these people from working with animals, to assist law enforcement, and to inform the public.
