Create a National Cell Phone Turn- off day with goal in mind of awareness and paying attention to what is in front of us

I purpose that a national "Cell phone turn off day" occurs once a year. The purpose of the petition is create a day where the possibility of text related car crashes, human interaction and contact is increased, and general awareness of our surroundings is heightened. The petition mandates that from 12 am to 12 am the following day - cell phones are turned off while in public.
