The rights provided by the 2nd Amendment in the U.S. Constitution state that citizens have the right to bear arms. Interpretation of the Constitution and the rights of individual states have taken away rights from law abiding citizens. I propose a national concealed carry permit law to which citizens can apply for a permit, provided they meet the application limitations(I.E. Felony, domestic violence, citizenship, background check, etc.), a permit shall be issued. The permit shall be recognized in every state and shall have no borders within the U.S.. Renewal of said permit shall take place annually in a one-day refresher course not to exceed eight hours. Initial applicants are required to pass a two day course not to exceed twelve instruction hours and four hours of range qualification.
