Presently, each state governs whether concealed carry of a firearm is permitted, who is allowed to carry, and the extent of that allowance. A concealed carry license granted in one state may or may not be honored in another.
Further, private business establishments like movie theaters and malls typically bar concealed carry. This creates pockets of weakness we have unfortunately seem exploited over and again.
This petition requests that we enact a national concealed carry law that enables responsible and licensed individuals to protect themselves, neighbors, community members, and children for horrific acts without the confusion and limitations of state by state governance.
