create a National Curriculum for all schools and underwrite all schools that teach it, including faith schools

As in many countries that have a National Curriculum for all schools, create a US National Curriculum that must be taught in all schools and then allow all schools that are willing to teach the curriculum - including all the various faith schools - to opt into the National Curriculum, while continuing with their religious ethos and paying for any religious instruction they offer outside of Government funding.
