Create a National Day of Remembrance for the Atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki

Created by J.A. on October 28, 2011

August 6, 1945 we dropped an atomic bomb on the city of Hiroshima. Three days later on August 9, 1945, without giving sufficient time for the Japanese government to react, we dropped a second bomb over Nagasaki. There is no justification for these heinous acts; acts that has subtly been swept under the carpet.
As the country that suffered such attacks every year on these 2 days, the Japanese people take a moment to pray for the realization of lasting world peace.
As the country that made such attacks, we Should be the front runner in abolishing nuclear weapons and promoting world peace. We should have a National Day of Remembrance of the Atomic Bombings on Hiroshima and Nagasaki so that the discussion will never cease and our youth will be inspired to seek new ways to end crisis
