Air travel is a fast way to get around our country, but it creates enormous pollution and the BTU energy rate is very high. The one single method of transportation that uses less BTUs is rail. High speed rail, such as those found in other countries would benefit our transportation system. Constructing such a system would put people to work, spare resources we all use, and provide alternative transportation solutions, in addition to benefiting the environment. Also, the use of portable electronic devices is permitted from entry to leaving the train.
