Create a National Holiday called First Responders Day

This is a call for Congress to establish a long overdue national holiday to be called First Responders Day to honor those men and women who run into danger when the natural reaction is to flee. They risk their own lives to make sure that others are safe and they deserve a national day of recognition. I suggest September 11 as the designated date as it exemplifies the actions these brave men and women take on behalf of others. If september 11 is too painfull than someother day of significance.
