As a full-time "advanced-degree" student, I am in awe of the greatest generation this nation has ever seen; the generation of fine Americans who received degrees from 4-year institutions (and up) before the internet came into existence.
Their hard work and dedication ought be memorialized in a National Holiday, because there is not a single student in America today who would graduate if they were not allowed to use the internet.
If we can celebrate Trees (Arbor Day), we can celebrate the hardest-working, degree-receiving generation in our Nation's fine history.
