We are petitioning the Obama administration to create a National Holiday (similar to Veterans Day) to honor our nations First Responders. Our First Responders are living and dying in the line of duty everyday trying to protect our personal property, our way of life, and most importantly our citizens. We are asking that you please consider all responders including EMS professionals, Fire Service, Police and Law Enforcement personal and all other organizations. We also ask that you have a special place listed in this Holiday to honor our volunteers and those who have given the greatest sacrifice during the publics time of need.
In 2013 we lost 101 Firefighters, 105 Police Officers, and 19 EMS professionals.
