I respectfully ask that this administration sponsor the creation of a Federal holiday to honor First Responders and Emergency Workers. Our first responders have a daunting task every day of being the first on scene of an accident or natural disaster. Emergency workers and first responders, whether they be fire, police, ambulance, nurses, doctors, etc. military or civilian, are all deserving of this. Their tireless efforts are truly appreciated by those they directly help and they have all certainly earned and deserve this.
