Create a National Holiday honoring American Astronauts and all of their sacrifices and achievements.

This holiday is to honor the amazing heroism of our astronauts. Their bravery, incredible tenacity, innovative thought in dire circumstances, and positive attitude throughout the mission is an inspiration all all Americans. From small towns and average upbringings, these men and women have proven any American, if they so apply themselves, can achieve great things. To become an American astronaut means greatness that combines athleticism, intellect, and mental discipline that most people do not have. Indeed, astronauts are a very exclusive breed of individual. It is our Duty to honor these men and women, to all that have gone before and to all that will “punch the envelope.”
