Create a national holiday to remember April 9th 1865, the day the Confederate Armies surrendered to the USA.

April 9th this year is the 150th anniversary of the surrender of the Confederate Army of Virginia to the Federal Army of the Potomac.

We believe that such a central event in American history deserves recognition as a formal holiday, such as:
"Confederate Surrender Day", "National Freedom Day", or some similar title.
