Create a national holiday for voting. All registered voters would be allowed time off to vote.

The voters of the United States of America should have a special national holiday that gives them time off from work to vote in all national elections. We have national holidays for New Years, Christmas, etc. But we don't have a day where all businesses close to allow the pepole to go to the polls and vote. I believe that voting is the most important duty of all citizens of this country. Some people don't vote due to their work not giving them the time to vote. All citizens of our country should be able to vote in the national election by showing proof of citizenship. No one should be prohibited from voicing their opinion of who should be the leaders of our country.
