To release political tension and desire for secession, the Obama administration should forgo a policy to grant the people a National Holiday that provides free ice cream to all. On this Holiday all government offices will be closed and people will celebrate in the streets with free ice cream distributed by the government. A holiday like this would allow people to relax and enjoy life and help people forget about the disputes between the states and the federal government.
This holiday should be observed possibly on the 3rd Friday in August.
