With the creation of a mandatory US issued Government ID and a read only data base of biometric data. There would be less identity theft, crime, and would create a virtual wall against future illegal immigration.
Though this would be a long term project that would only become mandatory after 5-10 years it would lead the way for amnesty for the illegal aliens that are here while stopping further illegal immigration.
