Create a national jobs database with the Department of Labor to link employers and employees quickly and efficiently.

Created by D.F. on July 23, 2012

The inefficiency created by multiple job search websites makes it less convenient for workers and less effective for employers.

With a single online database for employers and employees, employment opportunities will reach a larger pool of potential employees.

The database could bring together more job seekers while also providing employers with the screening tools available on private job posting websites. Furthermore, all the assistance tools such as resume creation could be standardised for additional public convenience.

In addition to saving citizens time, the database would also provide the Department of Labor with more timely statistics regarding job openings, employer/ee information, and hiring data.
