We are petitioning to create a National Lifeguard Appreciation day that will honor all the aquatic life saving professionals out there who are continuously training to make sure that when people head out to there local pools they will be safe. Lifeguards have to maintain alertness for long periods and/or in the hottest parts of summer and often for low wages. A day dedicated to these professionals would be the perfect way to say thank you.
