Create a National Lottery, where you can control what money is taken in and given out. Also, if people want to gamble on 10 million to 1 odds, let them know that every dollar they spend in the National Lottery will be tax deducible. This way at least they feel good about losing their money every week. I have spent at least $400 in the last year on powerball, mega millions, super lotto...and it would give me much more comfort if I know
my dollars are helping this country instead of private businesses.
I think people in America are going to take a gamble, and it would be nice if they could at least know where their money is going.
