Create a national monument/memorial in Washington, D.C. recognizing our founding father and 2nd President, John Adams.
Although some years ago a committee was formed to create a memorial recognizing the Adams' family, the process seems to be dragging on for many years now.
And while the family as a whole deserves this recognition, it also seems to diminish the singular achievements of John Adams.
It's sad to note that while Washington and Jefferson are recognized with significant monuments, that somehow John Adams has been skipped over.. His time is due.
