By creating a national minimum age requirement to own a N.F.A. long gun (specifically rifles and shotguns), many tragedies such as firearm accidents and shootings would become far less common. This would save a countless number of lives of innocent men, women, and children because they would be living in an environment where rifles and shotguns can not legally be accessed by minors.
