Create a National Primary Election Day to be held on the Second Tuesday of June of a Federal Election Year.

Created by J.R. on March 28, 2013

This is a petition to have Congress and the U.S. President create a National Federal Primary Election Day to be held the second Tuesday of June during an Federal Election Year. The goal is to consolidate Federal Elections to one specific day, permitting all citizens in every state to have an equal vote on ALL candidates running for federal office, specifically President of the United States. Another benefit to a specific Primary election date is the halting of the one-up-man-ship competition the states have created trying to have the first primary. This petition is for the reorganization of FEDERAL Primary elections exclusively. State and Local elections are to remain at the local level.
