The American people should be able to decide our own fate by drafting our own laws. Many of our states already have this liberty, but we need it on a national level. Through petitions, much like those on this website, we should not only be able to have our concerns addressed, we should be able to initiate bills and vote on them ourselves. We should have the ability to be our own legislature.
