Create a national registry of domestic abusers as well as create stronger punishment for those convicted of abuse.

Created by D.Y. on June 06, 2013

Domestic violence is a very common danger in America, but it's also one that no one wants to talk about. The key to getting folks to open up, is to provide better protection from their abusers.

Too often a domestic abuser will only spend a few days in jail, while the abused carries the scars, both physically and mentally, for years.

Lets make sure that these people are given punishment equal to their crimes, while also providing a database similar to the sex offender database. This will help people to know whether a potential significant other has a history of abuse.
