Jobs for unskilled laborers are not coming back. The U.S. Academy for Health and Science would graduate a new workforce, one with the skills to thrive because they would be well prepared for today's technological environment.
This Academy would produce the workers who will be needed as the new healthcare law is implemented. It would provide research into a more distributed energy system, one which helps alleviate the consequences of the severe storms which result from global warming. It would fuel innovation in the field of health and sciences.
The graduates of this premier academy would serve their country, either with the military or with other governmental agencies for a period of four years after graduation.
