Create a national standard that establishes the requirements needed to earn college level degrees.

Created by A.B. on November 12, 2012

Federal standards need to be set to define the requirements needed to obtain college level degrees/certifications. It is not fair for students who have to move to another state or transfer to another school to lose credits or take more courses because the standards are not the same from state-to-state or school-to-school. It is financially and emotionally stressful. Occupations are the same across the United States and the education required to obtain employment in an individual's chosen field should be the same all across the nation. We need to do all that we can to encourage higher education and when faced with losing credits because they don't transfer, or taking more courses-students get discouraged and possibly do not graduate because of the added financial burden and extended time
