Create a National Standard for voting machines and practices.

Create minimum standards for all states to follow in regards to voting machines and practices. All states should use similar machines and standards when developing ballots. Voting debacles such as in Florida should not occur in a first world country. The inadequacy of the machines, an extremely long ballot in English and Spanish combined with large voter turnout caused many people in Florida to wait in line to cast a vote on an election that had already been determined.
