We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Create a national tartan of the United States

Created by I.A. on May 11, 2016

A tartan, also known as plaid in the United States, is a pattern consisting of criss-crossed horizontal and vertical bands in multiple colors. These are traditionally used on Scottish quilts. However, they can now be found nearly everywhere, from coats to wrapping paper to scarfs to other products. While decorative, tartans are not taken lightly; The Scottish government even has an official register of tartans. In addition, 22 US states have their own official state tartans, which often include colors with strong symbolic meaning in that state. A national tartan with red, white, and blue colors would be a great way to represent the United States and American pride, both at home and abroad.
