Create a NATIONAL VOLUNTARY FIREARMS BUY-BACK PROGRAM.

Created by T.C. on December 21, 2012

As one part of a comprehensive national firearms sanity program, we should institute a national firearms buy-back program.

This program should be administered by our National Guard and funded from the pentagon's current level of funding.

Residents of our country should be able to bring any firearm to their nearest National Guard armory and turn it in for fair-market value using current published firearms value indexes.

Such programs have been highly successful in various communities around the nation. In the weekend following the murders in the Newtown Connecticut school, 1137 firearms were removed from the community of Camden New Jersey voluntarily, http://bit.ly/UNoPdS Let's do this for the entire nation.
