to create the national weekend of Fandom, to celebrate things that each of us like.

Create a weekend that allows all of us to celebrate all the things that we enjoy, from fandoms, to activities, and to hobbies.
This Celebration Weekend shall be the first full weekend in August every year.
In this we wish to put forth for a category of grants, to help small fan run organizations that put on events to promote all fandoms throughout the land.
The Title of the Grant should be
"The Forrest J. Ackerman Grant for the Promotion of All Fandom".
