The U.S. Postal Service has benefitted commerce and individuals with a universal service obligation of delivering communications at affordable prices. As technology has progressed so has the way we communicate, but the U.S. Postal Service remains a carrier of physical media. It's time for the U.S. Postal Service to catch up with the way we communicate.
The U.S Postal Service is well positioned with locations around the country.
Creating a National Wireless Network could efficiently bring affordable high-speed wireless communication to the country and buttress the U.S. Postal Service by bringing in new revenue streams. It could also spur efficiency and innovation in the wireless market much like it has with FedEx, UPS, and other delivery services.
