Create a neutral committee intended to review all government candidate ads, fact check and display discrepancies on ads.

Created by J.M. on July 10, 2012

In an effort to protect the American people from misinformation; all political ads should be subject to a fact check prior to release to the public. Any discrepancies should be clearly displayed on the ad just as a health warning is clearly displayed on a pack of cigarettes. This fact check should be organized through a neutral third party within the government or private sectors. A series of checks and balances should be in place to ensure that this can not be corrupted.
This fact check process will add transparency to the issues and the candidates and will hopefully create a clearer and more honest picture of the candidates as it moves forward. It will offer more incentive to candidates to represent the issues in a fair and honest light rather than with extreme and polarizing tactics
