Create new Federal Mandatory Sentences for Mass Shooting Mass Stabbing and or serious malicious crime sprees.

Created by N.S. on June 10, 2014

This petition urges the lawmakers to create a new class of sentences for crimes like mass shootings, mass stabbings, or other acts of malice where the person attempts to harm or kill random people. The intent is to deter potential offenders, and compel them to reconsider committing their crime before they actually take innocent lives.

This petition proposes the following sentence to be applied uniformly regardless of the offenders' age, or the number of casualties: The entire sentence must served in a federal supermax prison. If the death penalty is found to be appropriate, it must be admistered via the electric chair, even if the state the crime was committed in is not a capital punishment state.

All I can say is we as a nation need to take a stand against random acts of evil.
