Native Americans have long been part of this land long before Europeans came. Despite 100s of years of adversity & obscurity indians have fought in USA wars and lived, worked in peace on and off Reservations. The time to recognize this has long been overdue. In order to better represent all who live, work, play within the borders of USA, fight for it and die for it in the past, oresent and future I believe a new flag is needed. My idea for a new flag is one that has the internationally recognized as Native American symbol: The Thunderbird eoven amongst the stars and stripes so when Old Glory waves, the Thunderbird flies. I believe this new flag will truly represent us all.
