I am petitioning that we do need stricter gun laws. But the gun laws should be stricter prison sentences for the criminals that commit crimes with guns and not to continue to ban and take away gun privileges from law abiding citizens. You could impose a longer prison sentences on the criminals or just put the criminals that that use guns in a crime in a higher security level while they are in prison. Even if you ban all weapons the criminals will alway have them because they don't listen to reason or the laws. By banning guns it is only making it harder for lawful citizens defend themselves from the criminals. It will not hurt the lawful citizens to make it sticker on the criminals because lawful citizens do not brake the law. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
