The legalization of Marijuana within the United States would open a whole new industry that can be exploited for the benefit of the US people. Opening of this industry will instantly do the following:
1.) This will create or legalize an existing / whole new industry
2.) Create many small business opportunities
3.) Create a whole new tax revenue source which will help greatly reduced the deficit through additional revenues
4.) This will reduce govt spending in the justice and corrections departments which means less deficit. (This will also affect overall GDP also due to more working adults on the streets paying taxes rather the then sitting in jail.)
5.) This will also effectively remove the main revenue source for cartels and gangs, winning the drug war for us overnight!
