In light of recent event in Connecticut, it has become very apparent that we new new legislation to pass in regards to assault weapons and obtaining weapons. Assault weapons belong in the hands of the military and the police, not on the streets where they can make there way in to schools, malls and theatres. Legislation also needs to be enatcted in regards to who can obtain them and how many weapons each person can have. Weapons also need to be tracked.
