Create new "Levittown's" for the brave men and women returning from war. Doing so would create jobs and in return make $

Created by J.R. on January 22, 2012

Levittown, New York created by the firm of Levitt & Sons, Inc. who built the district as a planned community between 1947 and 1951 for the returning GIs from WWII. Levittown, NY became the 'archetype' for what we now know as 'the suburbs'.

It is now 2012, the Iraqi War has just ended. It is our hope that a new kind, a 'smart-suburb' is created by the US government in order to house and serve the military's men and women who are returning back home. This would allow our soldiers to assimilate back into life and create new towns in America. The 'smart-suburb' would not only be 'green' by design but technologically superior as well. These new homes would show off American ingenuity, heart and pride. Thousands would be employed for construction.
